This project initially started as a price for the gamescom 2024 cosplay contest winner. Talking with Blink about her awesome Zane Flynt cosplay out of Borderlands 3, we brainstormed the idea a bit bigger than a usual cosplay showcase and concepted this short fanfilm which is losely based on the Zane Flynt Borderlands 3 character trailer „Friends Like Zane“. For that a custom 3D enviromnent was created to fit the mood of the game and character trailer perfectly.

This fan film was produced using virtual production technologies in Epic’s Unreal Engine 5, no use of generative AI.
